Hello!

I read this post and followed all the points written by you in this post. But I am not getting DOJO to work in my Zend+Smarty project. Can explain me that how can I configure Smarty and DOJO both in my Zend Framework. I am eagerly waiting for your answer.

Thanking You,
Ronit Passwala.

Hi Charles,

Glad you like the post. Integrating Smarty is a bit tricky, I believe the Zend Manual describes how this can be done.

I am involved in a project that has Smarty integrated into Zend, but this involves extending a lot of the Zend Framework and is quite advanced.

Personally, I'm not sure if it's worth the maintenance to integrate Smarty. But that's my own bias preference since I've never really used Smarty before.

As a further note, I should make an update to this post because the controller code is not returning JSON, it's just returning a string.

Cheers,

Andre
